In efforts to increase awareness of events and knit the Canyons community’s web a bit tighter, we will revamp our usage of social media as a means of recruitment, idea sharing, and ‘free geofencing.’ Social Media is a powerful tool that will raise awareness to our events, display the types of activities on a close unit basis, and serve as a forum for everyone across the five cities in the district!
It will be an easy channel for units to send videos, fun trends, pictures. and information to be posted on our stories and main feed; ultimately casting a wider net to the public so they are able to see what scouting is all about!
If you have a flyer for an upcoming event, or need help making a flyer, reach out the District Executive Ashley Salem. If you’d like your event for November to be featured, send them in before November 8th for the next till of flyers to be posted!
