Adult Leader Recognition

Scouting thrives because of dedicated adult volunteers who give their time, passion, and
leadership to help young people grow into responsible citizens and leaders. Each year, we have the privilege of recognizing some of these exceptional individuals through two of Scouting’s highest levels of adult recognition: the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award.

We invite all Scouters to participate by nominating deserving leaders who exemplify the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law and have provided noteworthy service to youth.

Unit Exceptional Scouter Award

The Unit Exceptional Scouter (UES) Award is for Adult Volunteers who have stepped up and gone beyond the expectations of their positions. This award is nominated by the Unit
Committee (Pack, Troop, Crew). Units may nominate 2 Scouting Volunteers.
