BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience. Completion of this course by a MINIMUM OF ONE BALOO TRAINED adult is required for a Pack overnighter. \nTopics Covered:  \n\nCampfire & Flag Ceremonies\nMeal Planning & Cooking\nSetting up a campsite\nOutdoor event planning\nGPS\, Aquatics\, Gear\, Hiking\nMany more topics\n\nBALOO participants must complete the 30 minute pre-course training prior to arriving on course. Originally\, the parade marked the beginning of the Valencia orange packing season. It later evolved into a showcase of the many fine organizations that call the City of Orange home. Thousands of spectators lined the parade route to cheer on participants such as local schools\, churches\, businesses\, and philanthropic organizations\, instilling a sense of community and civic pride. \nThe Orange Chamber of Commerce brought back the Orange May Parade and is excited to continue with an even bigger and better event in 2025!

We need you to be a part of the FUN! Adult volunteers guide campers through the day and assist at activity stations. Adults should to register for three or more days. If you can not register for three days please contact the camp director to discuss options. The camp staff will provide training before camp so you know what you need to do at camp. Adult volunteers that work at least three days get a free T shirt. Adults are always welcome to join the Day Camp Staff\, contact the Camp Director for more information. Day Camp is a wonderful time filled with fun\, games\, laughter\, and adventure. Help the Day Camp put on the best time of our Scout’s summers by volunteering. Training will be be May 31 and June 3\, plan to attend one. Safeguarding Youth and AB506 training is required\, find out more here. \nDay Camp is organized around dens. Each den stays together during camp. The den is made up of campers of similar age and rank\, adults\, and youth volunteers. Equipment and supplies are cleaned between dens. \nTot Lot Kids are potty trained 3-years-old through Kindergarten age and must have a parent volunteering at camp in order to attend. \nYouth Volunteers Do not need to be registered as a member of Scouting America.

DESCRIPTION:Click here to register\nClick here to visit camp website for more information \nCub Scout Daycamp \nNon scouts can now join registered Cub Scouts as Campers! If you have wondered about the neat things that scouts get to do\, now you can attend Cub Scout Daycamp and see for yourself. \nThe Central Daycamp is located at Kiwanisland in Garden Grove and will run from July 20 – July 24\, 2026. Camp runs 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Registration is open until July 6\, 2025. Visit the camp website \nDaycamp is a wonderful time filled with fun\, games\, laughter\, and adventure. Daycamp is staffed entirely by parents and volunteers. We need you to be a part of the FUN! \nCamp is welcome to: \n·         Cub Scout – Registered BSA incoming Tigers and above. Incoming Lions can only participate in Tot Lot. \n·         Non Scout Camper – Campers who are not registered Cub Scouts and at least incoming first grade age through 5th grade. \nAdult volunteers  – Den Walkers who escort the den through the day and assist the Youth Volunteer Den Chief. If you can not attend for a minimum of three days please contact the camp director to discuss options. Adult volunteers that work at least three days get a free T shirt. Safeguarding Youth and AB506 training is required\, find out more here. Camp training for volunteers is mandatory\, and will be held in June and July (TBD)\, 5:30-7:30pm. You must attend one of the two session\, but not both. \nYouth Volunteers must be registered as a member of Scouting America. Youth Volunteers must also attend staff training as outlined above. \nTot Lot – Siblings 3 years and up and potty trained. DESCRIPTION:Woodbadge is the ultimate leadership training program available for Adult Scout Leaders who are involved in the programs of the Boy Scouts of America. Wood Badge is designed to train leaders using the latest skills and techniques of Leadership. Similar courses in the Corporate world cost thousands of dollars per attendee and may not offer the same depth. It is hoped that every Cub Scout\, Scouts BSA\, Sea Scout\, and Venturing Leader\, as well as District\, Council leaders and Professionals\, will take the Wood Badge course within two years of becoming a scouter. \nFall 2026 Schedule: \nThis course takes place over two (2) weekends / 5 days. You must be able to attend both weekends. \nWeekend #1:\nSeptember 18 – 20\, 2026\nFriday 7am\, Saturday & Sunday 5pm \nWeekend #2:\nOctober 3 – 4\, 2026\nSaturday 7am to Sunday 5pm \nCourse Director: Tom Devine
